The Foundation’s approach is guided by the 10 National Privacy Principles and the 11 Information Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act). The Foundation has adopted an approach consistent with the exemptions to the Privacy Act in respect of employee records.
Charitable Status
The Governor Phillip Scholarship Trust (ABN 46397638331) and the Governor Phillip International Scholarship Trust (ABN 94381326258) are both charitable organisations incorporated in Australia in 2016, as a public companies limited by guarantee.
Both Trusts have been granted DGR Status. In the case of The Governor Phillip International Scholarship Trust by an Act of Parliament effective 30th June 2018
